Terms and Conditions

Garment Care.
Garments should be machine washed in cold water with NO BLEACH. Any worn or washed garments cannot be returned.

Screen-printing.

Customers may supply artwork and our artists may make any adjustments, or we may have our artists work up a design from an idea you have. We have a variety of ideas for designs available on our website that can be customized to fit your corporation. Absolutely all designs produced by Fire Department Clothing become the property of Fire Department Clothing. You may submit any artwork for approval through mail or fax, though failure to respond in a timely manner may result in a delay in receiving your order when requested. It is best to send artwork to art@FireDepartmentClothing.com with the order number in the subject of the email.

Glassware.

We can use art sent to us for glassware as long as it has clean, black lines. If it is necessary to redraw or retouch the art you sent, there is an additional charge of $20. All designs that are mailed to us will be returned only if requested when ordered. We strongly recommend that you send artwork to art@FireDepartmentClothing.com with the order number in the subject of the email.

Breakage.

Shipment should not be refused for any reason. If your glassware arrives broken, you must save all packaging and boxes. You will have to call UPS at 1(800)PICK-UPS in order to file a claim and they will assign you an LDI number. After UPS has examined your package, you may call Fire Department Clothing with the claim number and the items will be replaced. Claims must be reported within 72 hours of receipt. We do not claim responsibility for replacements after that time.

Rush Service.

- Screen-printing will ship within 7 to 10 business days; add rush
delivery for an additional 20% of the total.
- In order to guarantee these rush times we must have all details of the entire order, i.e. count, sizes, artwork, colors, and address. The above rush times are from the time that we receive the full order and can start production.
- Glassware and Plastics will ship within 10 business days; add rush
delivery for an additional 20% of the total.
- Rush orders must be placed before 12 p.m. or they will be dated the
following business day. All rush times are plus shipping days. Please allow
adequate time when ordering. Please type in comments box when item is needed.

RUSH FEES ARE FOR RUSH PRODUCTION- THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING TIME. A working day starts on the next business day and does not include holidays or weekends. IF YOU ORDER OTHER MERCHANDISE THAT TAKES LONGER TO SHIP - WE WAIT TO SHIP YOUR ORDER TOGETHER, SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO MAKE MORE THAN ONE ORDER IF YOU NEED IT SOONER.

Shipping.
Shipping Cost depends on the total weight of the order. Most orders will be shipped via UPS Ground. We assure that your order will be shipped in a timely manner. We are in no way responsible for delays resulting from negligence of the carrier, strikes, acts of God, weather conditions, or power failures. UPS will attempt to re-deliver for three consecutive days. If no response is received, your order will be sent back to us. You will be charged shipping again to have the order re-shipped.

Returns or Exchanges.
Since all orders are custom-made, there can be no returns unless the item(s) ordered is defective or the wrong item(s) is received. Be very meticulous upon ordering as we cannot accept exchanges due to selecting the wrong embroidery color, garment color, etc.

Prior to shipment, all orders are thoroughly examined and counted by at least two members of our production staff that ensure that item sizes and quantities are accurate and are also examined for defects. FireDepartmentClothing.com is not responsible for any problems with orders that have been opened or left unattended after they are delivered.
